Both villages are known for their handmade baskets and facade paintings. Via Sagama, you cycle through Mediterranean scrubland and pastures. Shortly before your stage destination of Santu Lussurgiu, you will come to the village of San Leonardo di Siete Fuentes. Here you will not only find the 12th century church of the same name. On a short walk through beautiful forests, some with ancient holm and cork oaks, you will also come across water sources.

From the medieval village of Santu Lussurgiu, which lies on the south-eastern slope of the Montiferru volcanic massif, you start a round trip to Santa Cristina today. Here you will not only come across a Nuragic settlement, but also the best-preserved Nuragic well temple on the island. Travel back in time at this picturesque location. On the way back, you should make a detour to the Sos Molinos waterfall. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island and plunges a total of 30 meters over five steps into a small pool.
