UNESCO declared the Dolomite mountains a World Heritage Site for their unique, monumental beauty. In this natural paradise, you will cycle past the crystal clear waters of the lake, which reflect the stately peaks of the mountains. During your e-bike-tour around the Dolomites the charming towns of Bolzano, Brixen and Trento are on your route, which also sometimes takes you along the tracks of the former Dolomite railway. You are welcomed by the 3000 m high Three Peaks, the landmarks of the Dolomites. These three impressive peaks can also be seen from afar at the end of your tour.
This e-bike-tour around the Dolomites has been designed especially for ebikes. The more athletic cyclists can of course enjoy this wonderful tour on a regular bike.

Day 1: Individual arrival in Toblach / Niederdorf

Your cycle tour around the Dolomites begins on the Toblach field at the highest point of Alta Pusteria in Toblach or Niederdorf. Here you are greeted by a breathtaking panorama. Lush green meadows and a phenomenal view of the striking Dolomite peaks make the start of the tour something very special. The small winter sports resort of Toblach also has a lot to offer in summer.

Day 2: Toblach – Mühlbach (Brixen), approx. 65 km

On the first stage of the cycle tour around the Dolomites, you start on the Val Pusteria/Pustertal cycle path. You follow the River Rienz, which leads you to Bruneck. Take a short break before cycling past the impressive ruins of the Mühlbacher Klause into the Eisack Valley. Once you reach your stage destination of Mühlbach, don't miss out on a stroll through the medieval village.

Day 3: Mühlbach – Bolzano, approx. 45 km

You will soon reach Brixen. Take a stroll through the narrow arcades and look up – numerous bay windows adorn the old buildings. The bubbling Eisack takes you out of Brixen. As the valley narrows, the beauty of the Dolomites reveals itself to you. Through the Bolzano basin you reach Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol. This is where Italian joie de vivre meets the Tyrolean lifestyle!

Day 4: Bolzano – Trento, approx. 65 km

You continue along the Adige river and leave South Tyrol at the Salurner Klause – the border between German-speaking South Tyrol and Italian-speaking Trentino. The cycle tour takes you past vineyards and fruit trees around the Dolomites to the former episcopal city of Trento. The city boasts Buonconsiglio Castle and impressive buildings in the old town.

Day 5: Trento – Feltre, approx. 70 km + train ride or approx. 95 km

You cycle through the Valsugana Valley, surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites, past the glistening Lake Caldonazzo, which is a wonderful place to take a break. The first section to Caldonazzo is very steep and can be shortened by train (not included – depending on where you spend the night on day 4, you can shorten the route by train on day 4 or 5). Continuing through the impressive valley, you will soon come across the former Via Claudia Augusta, an important Roman road from the Adriatic to Augsburg. In Feltre, the charming little town, you can enjoy an impressive view of the Dolomites!

Day 6: Feltre – Pieve di Cadore, approx. 75 km

On today's stage, you cycle through lush green deciduous forest avenues to Belluno. The capital of the province of Veneto proudly looks back on over 2000 years of history! Discover the countless beauties of the city. In the north, the striking Dolomite peaks that accompanied you on your first stages welcome you back. You follow the cycle path northwards and reach Longarone after around 20 km. The small village has a sad past: a landslide into the reservoir above caused a tidal wave in 1963, destroying all but one of the church towers. The newly built cycle path takes you further to Pieve di Cadore.

You can already see the striking peaks of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo from afar.
