Key landmarks include the iconic Porta Nigra, the Romanesque Dreikönigenhaus, and the elegant Rococo palace of the electors, each offering a glimpse into the city's rich heritage. Continue your journey to Bernkastel-Kues, where you can stroll through the medieval marketplace, admire the picturesque gabled half-timbered houses, and explore the Moselle Wine Museum. Here, a unique double-decker bridge spans the Moselle, linking the town with Alf on the opposite bank. Continue to the enchanting town of Beilstein, often referred to as the "Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle," before heading to Cochem to visit the historic Reichsburg Castle. Along the way, savor the fruity notes of Riesling wine, produced from the renowned slate-covered steep slopes of the region.
