As the oldest wine region in Germany, the area along the Moselle not only produces first-class fruity and sparkling wines, but also offers you optimal conditions to spend a relaxing and eventful cycling vacation thanks to the well-developed and almost gradient-free Moselle cycle path. Already more than 2000 years ago, the Romans recognized the excellent location and the beautiful scenery of the Moselle. In addition to ancient buildings, they left behind a multitude of winepresses that testify to their professional winegrowing. Our bike tour from Treves to Coblenz starts in the oldest German city. You will get to know the wine ship community of Neumagen-Dhron, the picturesque half-timbered town of Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach, which is characterized by Art Nouveau villas. Walk in the footsteps of chivalry at the sublime Cochem Imperial Castle and the fairytale Eltz Castle before reaching your destination of Coblenz. Along the way, get to know countless wineries and treat yourself to a glass of wine or two. Our bike tour from Treves to Coblenz is rounded off with a boat trip on the Rhine from Coblenz to St. Goarshausen to the Loreley Rock.
