Hamburg – one of Germany's most multifaceted cities is the focus of our cycling holidays around Hamburg. The Elbe Philharmonic Hall, the Speicherstadt, the Michel, the huge harbour and the Reeperbahn – there is a lot to see and experience in Hamburg. It is therefore not surprising that we have designed bike tours that make the Hanseatic city the starting or end point of our cycling holidays around Hamburg. Hamburg's location is ideal for getting to know the surrounding countryside on the Elbe, the North Sea and beyond. Along the Elbe you can cycle to the matjee town of Glückstadt, the Alte Land near Stade and the seaport town of Cuxhaven. On the North Sea coast you will find out whether Husum is as grey as the writer Theodor Storm once wrote, what the wind is like in St. Peter-Ording and that the Wadden Sea around the North Frisian Islands offers unique flora and fauna. Between the Elbe and the Baltic Sea, you will get to know the Dithmarschen, the Kiel Canal and the rum city of Flensburg.
Our tip: Our cycling holidays around Hamburg extend beyond the borders of Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. Whether to Berlin along the Elbe and Havel rivers or from Denmark's capital Copenhagen across the Baltic Sea islands of Zealand, Funen and Als – our cycling holidays around Hamburg offer a relaxed cycling holiday on well-maintained and mostly flat cycle paths.

In the middle of it all, you will get to know the Elbe valley meadows in Lower Saxony, the fruit-growing town of Werder, Brandenburg - the cradle of the Mark - and Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam.
The port metropolis of Hamburg is the destination of the cycle tour from Sylt on the North Sea Coast Cycle Route. You can explore the largest island in North Friesland on an excursion from Niebüll. You will get to know the coast and Husum without any significant inclines. Once described by the writer Theodor Storm as a grey town by the sea, the town enchants with its charming, colorful houses. You then follow the Elbe via Brunsbüttel and soon reach Hamburg.
