With lots of fun and excitement, you will get to know one of the most diverse river cycle paths in the Alpine region on the cycling tour along the Mur for families. Magnificent natural landscapes, remote farms, picturesque villages, castles and fortresses line your route as you follow the Mur through valleys and wide basins. There is plenty of swimming fun along the way, as there are numerous bathing opportunities along the route! Railroad enthusiasts will also get their money's worth on this tour. The historic steam train of the Murtalbahn train rushes past you between Tamsweg and Unzmarkt and can be used for shortcuts or a special railroad experience. The stages of the cycling tour along the Mur for families are deliberately kept short so that they are manageable for the whole family. There are a few small climbs to contend with, but these are rewarded with wonderful descents in keeping with the motto first work, then play.
