Bonjour et bienvenue en France! This should get you in the right mood for your cycle tour in Southern France: The canal, which was built over 150 years ago as an extension of the Canal du Midi, will impress you with its uniqueness and the intoxicating charm of Southern France. Its original purpose was commercial shipping. Today, it mostly attracts water sports enthusiasts, houseboats and cyclists. On the way between Bordeaux and Toulouse, you will ride on largely flat paths almost continuously along the banks of the waterway. The numerous locks and bridges create an incomparable nature experience. Idyllic villages and historically interesting towns make your cycle tour in Southern France an unforgettable experience.
