Day 1: Individual arrival in Lech am Arlberg

Your cycle tour on the Lech Cycle Path begins in the charming mountain village of Lech am Arlberg, which impresses with its picturesque Alpine scenery. Explore the surrounding hiking trails or relax on a walk along the Lechbach stream. In the evening, your cozy hotel welcomes you, where you can get in the mood for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Lech am Arlberg – Elbigenalp, approx. 45 km

The first day of cycling takes you through the idyllic Lech Valley, past lush meadows and traditional farms. Before you set off, however, it is worth making a detour to the source of the Lech, which rises near Lech am Arlberg and offers an impressive insight into the origin of the emerald green river. On the way, you can visit the Walser Museum in Lech or the imposing Holzgauer Hängebücke, which offers a fantastic view of the Lech Gorge. Your destination for the day, Elbigenalp, is known as the "village of woodcarvers" and impresses with its artistic woodwork and Tyrolean charm.

Day 3: Elbigenalp – Füssen / Schwangau, approx. 55 km

The third stage of your cycle tour on the Lech Cycle Path takes you through the enchanting Lech Valley to historic Füssen. Start in Elbigenalp and enjoy the ride along the emerald green river. In Häselgehr, it is worth making a short stop to admire the magnificent parish church with its impressive interior. The route continues past the characteristic Lechzopf to Forchach, where a spectacular suspension bridge offers unforgettable views. After crossing the border to Bavaria, the thundering Lech Falls, an impressive natural phenomenon near Füssen, awaits you. Crown the day with a visit to the world-famous royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, which are a highlight of this tour with their fairytale architecture.

Day 4: Füssen – Schongau, approx. 40 / 55 km

Today you cycle through the picturesque foothills of the Alps, past glistening lakes such as Forggensee. You can take a break in Halblech and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Once you arrive in Schongau, the historic old town with its well-preserved town walls invites you to take a stroll and the town parish church Mariae Himmelfahrt impresses with its baroque frescoes. End the evening relaxing in a traditional beer garden, from where you can enjoy a special view of the town walls and the surrounding countryside - a perfect end to this varied day.

Day 5: Schongau – Landsberg am Lech, approx. 35 km

This stage of your cycle tour on the Lech Cycle Path takes you through the foothills of the Alps to Landsberg am Lech. On the way, it is worth stopping at the picturesque pilgrimage church of Vilgertshofen, which impresses with its ornate baroque interior. Shortly before Landsberg, you can stop at the imposing Lech dam, which offers an interesting combination of technical construction and the surrounding nature. In Landsberg itself, numerous sights await you, such as the medieval old town with its winding alleyways, the magnificent Bayertor gate and the historic town hall. At the Lech weir, cozy cafés with a view of the river invite you to linger – a perfect place to end the stage.

Day 6: Landsberg am Lech – Augsburg, approx. 50 km

On the last stage, you cycle through gently rolling hills and dense riparian forests, accompanied by the calming sound of the Lech. Once you arrive in Augsburg, a successful conclusion awaits you. Visit the magnificent Augsburg Cathedral, the historic old town and the famous Fuggerei, the oldest social housing estate in the world. A stroll through the Botanical Gardens or a visit to the Schaezlerpalais will round off your stay perfectly.

Day 7: Individual departure
