Day 1: Individual arrival in Tui

Your journey begins in the charming town of Tui on the Portuguese border. Explore the old town with its cobbled streets and the imposing Cathedral of Santa María, which offers a magnificent view of the River Miño. Enjoy your first night in this town steeped in history and get in the mood for your cycle tour along the Galician coast.

Day 2: Round trip from Tui, approx. 45 km

Today your cycling adventure begins with a wonderful route along the Miño River on quiet country roads and the impressive Minho Ecovia railroad cycle path. You cross the border into Portugal and reach the historic fortified town of Monção, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. The route takes you through picturesque vineyards and past the old city walls. Along the way, idyllic thermal springs invite you to take a relaxing break while enjoying breathtaking views of the river landscape. A detour to the extensive parks of the Parque das Caldas is well worthwhile before you return to Tui.

Day 3: Tui – Baiona, approx. 70 km

On today's stage of your cycle tour along the Galician coast, you will cycle along the coastal road towards Baiona, which offers numerous opportunities for a refreshing break on the golden beaches and hidden bays. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the turquoise blue sea before reaching the picturesque harbor town of Baiona. Visit the impressive Monterreal fortress, stroll through the charming old town and end the day with freshly caught fish in one of the quaint tapas bars.

Day 4: Baiona – Pontevedra, approx. 40 km + transfer

After a transfer to the starting point, your cycle tour begins along the Bay of Baiona. You follow the Eurovelo cycle path, which takes you safely through the bustling port of Vigo while you enjoy the maritime flair of the city. You continue on a section of the Portuguese coastal path Camino de Santiago, where you join the pilgrims and experience the scenic diversity of this route. Your destination for the day is the beautiful old town of Pontevedra, where you can explore the narrow streets and visit the impressive church of Santa María. Your comfortable hotel, a traditional parador, invites you to relax at the end of the day.

Day 5: Pontevedra – Cambados, approx. 50 km + transfer

After a morning transfer, today's stage takes you through the charming landscapes of the Rías Baixas. Keep an eye out for dolphins along the way as you cycle along the beautiful beaches around O'Grove and the famous island of La Toja. Then continue to Cambados, a town full of history and maritime charm. The region is known for its excellent Albariño wine, which is grown here in the surrounding vineyards. Visit the magnificent Pazo de Fefiñáns, an impressive manor house with spacious squares, or stroll through the historic old town with its picturesque arcades and traditional stone houses. If you want to learn more about maritime culture, you can visit the fishing museum or take a stroll along the picturesque harbor promenade.

Day 6: Cambados – Santiago de Compostela, approx. 45 km + transfer

The last day of your cycle tour offers a fascinating mix of nature, culture and history. You start your stage on a tree-lined railroad cycle path that takes you through picturesque landscapes. Along the way, you will come across the Portuguese Way of St. James and follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims northwards. Finally, a transfer will take you to Santiago de Compostela, where you can marvel at the majestic cathedral, stroll through the historic old town and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the pilgrim city.

Day 7: Individual departure

Enjoy the special atmosphere of Santiago one last time, perhaps on a final stroll through the lively Plaza del Obradoiro or a visit to a traditional market to take a piece of Galicia home with you.
