It even served as a stunning backdrop in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. Interestingly, a mummified shark hangs above the town's historic gate, adding a quirky touch to the town's character. For those visiting on a clear day, a ride on the Pfänderbahn cable car is highly recommended, offering breathtaking panoramic views of over 240 Alpine peaks and the sparkling waters of Lake Constance.

On today's stage of cycling tour at the Lake Constance, you will ride from Friedrichshafen to Meersburg. Take some time to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming old town and visit the historic castle. Afterward, hop on the ferry for a scenic crossing to Constance. As you wander through the city, you'll be captivated by the splendid Renaissance buildings adorned with intricate facade paintings. From Constance, board the catamaran at the harbour for a quick and picturesque journey back to Friedrichshafen. From there, it's just a short cycle ride to Kressbronn to complete your day’s adventure.
