Violet sage, deep green pine forests and the blue of the Adriatic Sea: these colors dominate the beautiful coastal region in the north of Dalmatia. Discover small, hidden bathing bays and idyllic fishing villages in the national parks on this trip by bike and boat in northern Dalmatia. Jump from the deck into crystal-clear water and then let the sun's rays warm you up. A highlight of your trip is a visit to the picturesque Krka waterfalls in the national park of the same name. The river makes its way down over 17 cascades. In the Kornati National Park, 125 small and larger islands await you, most of which are uninhabited off the coast of Dalmatia. You will also get to know Lake Vrana, the largest lake in the country. On your trip by bike and boat in Dalmatia, you will cycle through fragrant forests and enjoy fantastic views of the vast sea, with small islands and colorful boats on the horizon - a pure vacation in one of the most beautiful regions of the Mediterranean.
The azure blue Mediterranean and the pretty old town of Zadar welcome you on your trip by bike and boat in Dalmatia on your day of arrival. After embarking between 11.30 am and 1.00 pm, you are ready to set off. After a snack on board, the ship will take you to the island of Molat. Your first kilometers on the bike await you: From the harbor village of Molat, you cycle to the small village of Zapuntel and back. The ship will take you to the island of Zverinac, where you will be anchored for the night.
After breakfast, we take the boat to the island of Dugi Otok. The island owes its name to its length of 43 kilometers. At its narrowest point, it is only around one kilometer wide. A lively bike ride takes you to the Veli Rat lighthouse at the north-western end of the island. You then cycle to Brbinj. After enjoying lunch on board there, you have the choice of continuing by bike or boat. Your destination is Sali, the main town on Dugi Otok.
From Sali, you cycle to the Telašćic Nature Park in the south of Dugi Otok on today's stage of your trip by bike and boat in Dalmatia. Experience the impressive cliffs and the salt lake on a walk before returning to Sali. Continue by boat towards the islands of the Kornati National Park. Enjoy the tranquillity of the national park, which consists largely of uninhabited islands. You reach your destination for the day in Šibenik. The most important building in the town is the magnificent Cathedral of St. James - well worth seeing.
Today is another highlight of your trip by bike and boat in Dalmatia. It begins with a boat trip on the River Krka to Skradin. From there, you will cycle to Skradinski buk, probably the most famous waterfall in the famous Krka National Park. After cycling back to Skradin, you have the option of either cycling directly to Vodice or over the 100-metre-high Okit mountain to Vodice - panoramic views included.
Today we first head from Vodice to Tribunj. The old town of this small town is located on an island and is connected to the mainland via a natural stone bridge. Enjoy a coffee at the harbor during a short break and explore the island before continuing on to Tisno. There you reach the island of Murter via a lift bridge. Cycle along the sea to Betina. The village looks back on a long history of traditional wooden shipbuilding. Continue to the bay of Podvrške with its beautiful beach. Your boat is already waiting for you there.
