The Kurfürstendamm invites you to an extensive shopping spree. The ship's crew will be waiting for you from 16:00.
You leave Berlin and cycle through the Ruppin Lake District to Oranienburg, where you can visit the baroque palace of Princess Luise of Orange. Your boat will take you to Eberswalde. The city lock, built in 1831, is the oldest operational lock on the Havel River. You can experience up close how its wooden gates are opened and closed again by means of push rods.
Today you will again cycle the first part of the day's stage towards the Baltic Sea. You will drive to Niederfinow, where there is a ship lift. The beautiful landscape of Lake Oderberg with many small forests and a few hills will accompany you to Hohensaaten, where you will return on board and ride along the Oder River on the German-Polish border.
Whoever wants can extend the bike tour to Schwedt and only there return to the ship. The daily stage is then extended by 35 km.
Today you will drive through the unique cross-border protected area International Park Lower Oder Valley to Mescherin. The steep banks of the West Oder River here represent the border to Poland. Here we reboard and continue by ship to Szczecin. The city has one of the largest harbors on the Baltic Sea. Worth seeing, besides the old town, is the castle of the Dukes of Pomerania.
There is no cycling leg scheduled for today. You can spend the whole day relaxing on board. After a short ride, the ship reaches the expanse of the Szczecin Lagoon, the estuary of the Oder and Peene rivers. You will cross the second largest lagoon in the Baltic Sea with an area of 903 m² and reach Wolgast, the gateway to the island of Usedom, which is still medieval in character.
In the morning you cycle through the Usedom Nature Park to Peenemünde. The visit to the Historical-Technical Museum in the former power plant is an impressive experience. Afterwards, you will cross over by ship to the largest German island of Rügen. In the southeast you will land at Lautebach not far from the town of Putbus. You can end the evening on board.
Today Rügen is on the program. Your bike tour will first take you to Putbus with its famous Circus. Classicist buildings line this circular square where all the streets converge. You will then cycle across the island via Garz to the Schoritzer Wiek, a beautiful bay on the Greifswalder Bodden. You leave the island via the Rügen Dam and cycle to Stralsund, where your ship and crew are already waiting for you. On a walk through the old town, you will get to know the important past of the Hanseatic city.
