Day 1: Individual arrival in Lausanne

Welcome to Lausanne, the elegant city on the northern shore of Lake Geneva. Switzerland's Olympic capital impresses with a charming old town, magnificent views of the Alps and a lively lakeside promenade in Ouchy. Take the opportunity to visit the Olympic Museum or stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town. In the evening, Lausanne is the perfect place to start your trip – whether in one of the traditional restaurants or in a modern bistro with a view of the lake.

Day 2: Lausanne – Yvoire, approx. 30 km + boat trip

The first stage of your bike tour around Lake Geneva begins with a picturesque boat trip from Lausanne to Évian-les-Bains, a famous spa town on the French side of the lake. Enjoy the relaxing crossing with impressive views of the Alps and the rolling hills of Lavaux. Once you arrive in Évian, you can explore the historic old town or refresh yourself at the famous thermal springs. From there, your cycle tour takes you along the lake through charming French villages such as Thonon-les-Bains before reaching the medieval town of Yvoire. Here, flower-filled alleyways, half-timbered houses and the romantic garden "Le Jardin des Cinq Sens" await you.

Day 3: Yvoire – Geneva, approx. 25 km

Today you cycle through the flat hinterland of the French Rhône-Alpes region and enjoy the view of the lake. Small villages such as Nernier or Messery invite you to take a coffee break. Once you arrive in Geneva, the city of diplomacy awaits you with its world-famous "Jet d'Eau" water fountain, the Parc des Bastions and the old town with the impressive Cathédrale Saint-Pierre.

Day 4: Geneva – Nyon / Prangins, approx. 45 km

Today's section of your bike tour around Lake Geneva takes you back to Switzerland. During the ride, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif, whose snow-capped peaks tower majestically over the lake and provide an impressive backdrop for your cycle tour. Your destination is Nyon, a town with Roman roots and an impressive castle perched high above the lake. Alternatively, you can spend the night in neighboring Prangins, where the Swiss National Museum offers a journey into the past.

Day 5: Nyon – Lausanne, approx. 45 km

Today you will travel through the wine-growing regions of La Côte, which are known for their excellent Chasselas wines. Along the way, picturesque wine villages such as Gland and Rolle invite you to enjoy a tasting. Shortly before Lausanne, you reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lavaux with its spectacular terraced vineyards. Take the opportunity to stop off at a winegrower and sample a glass of regional wine.

Day 6: Lausanne – Montreux, approx. 35 km

The last cycling stage is a real highlight: you cycle through the vineyards of Lavaux, with breathtaking views of the lake and the Alps. A stopover in Vevey, the home town of Charlie Chaplin, is worthwhile, as is a visit to Chaplin's World Museum. The finale of your trip is Montreux, famous for its jazz festival, its palm-lined lakeside promenade and the spectacular Chillon Castle. If you wish, you can extend your tour with a detour to Chillon Castle and explore the impressive moated castle at your leisure.

Day 7: Individual departure

After an eventful week, your bike tour around Lake Geneva ends in Montreux. Use the morning to stroll through the elegant town or take a boat trip on the lake. From here, you have good connections back to Lausanne or home.
