Outside the bustling cities, nature plays a major role: you will cycle through archipelagos, forests, lakes and countless fishing villages on this tour. Add to this the friendly locals, who will welcome you with great hospitality wherever you go. Treat yourself to köttbullar and blåbärssoppa. Day 1: Individual arrival in Stockholm

Sweden's capital is the starting point for your bike tour from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Explore the highlights of the city extensively on a walk. The Royal Palace, the old town Gamla Stan and the Vasa Museum are certainly worth a visit. Personal tour information and bike handover take place in the evening.

Day 2: Excursion to Drottningholm Palace, approx. 50 km

The residence palace of the Swedish king is the destination of today's bike tour. Built in the 16th century, it was given its current baroque appearance after a fire and developed into one of the most magnificent castles in Europe. Pay a visit to the rooms of the palace and stroll through the extensive park before returning to the heart of Stockholm via Södermalm district, which is popular with artists and students.

Day 3: Train ride Stockholm – Gothenburg

The bike tour from Stockholm to Copenhagen takes you to the west coast of Sweden today. In the morning, grab your luggage and take the train to Gothenburg. Leave the bike you used for exploring Stockholm at your hotel. After receiving your new bikes, go on a discovery tour through Gothenburg's old town with its small stores and picturesque wooden houses. Stop for a fika, a Swedish coffee break, in between and enjoy the maritime flair of Sweden's second largest city.

Day 4: Gothenburg – Kungsbacka, approx. 40 – 65 km

At the hotel, you will be given new bikes for the next stages of your bike tour from Stockholm to Copenhagen. On the Kattegattleden you cycle on pleasantly flat paths past rocks and forests, bays and harbors. After visiting the impressive old town in Kungsbacka, it's time for another fika, as the Swedes call their coffee break. Try a few treats such as havreflarn or kanelbullar – this is how the day can end.

Day 5: Kungsbacka – Varberg, approx. 60 – 75 km

The salty sea air blows around your nose as you enjoy the breathtaking view. You cycle past horse farms and fields to the small town of Åsa. Take a refreshing dip in the sea or stroll along the beautiful beach before getting back on your bike. You will recognize your destination Varberg from afar. The fortress of the same name was built on a hill right on the coast and is certainly worth a visit.

Day 6: Varberg – Falkenberg – Helsingborg, approx. 40 km + train ride

Today you can look forward to picturesque fishing villages and many artisans. If you've always wanted to try freshly cooked lobster, you can do so in Träslövsläge. Cycle on to Falkenberg, one of the oldest towns in the province of Halland. Hop on the train (not included) and in approx. 90 minutes you will reach the port city of Helsingborg. This important city lies at the narrowest point of the Öresund. Stroll through the old town or enjoy the evening at the large harbour.

Day 7: Helsingborg – Helsingør – Copenhagen, approx. 55 km + ferry trip

After breakfast, you can be on Danish soil in just 20 minutes by ferry (not included). Follow in Shakespeare's footsteps and visit Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, the setting for the drama Hamlet. Then cycle along beautiful beaches and fragrant forests to the vibrant capital of Denmark. The city itself is as colorful as the houses in Nyhavn. Discover Amalienborg Palace, home to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and Christiania and soak up the impressions of your bike tour from Stockholm to Copenhagen over a Smørrebrød.
