The bike tour form Odense to Copenhagen takes you in 11 days trhough the island world of Denmark. you start on Fuenen. The island, known as the Garden of Denmak, awaits you with lush nature and a multitude of beautiful castles. From Odense you will travel to the south of the island to Svendborg. Just a stone's thorow away, you will get to know the islands of Tåsinge and Langeland on the bike tour from Odense to Copenhagen. Enjoy the view of the sea during the crossing to the island of Lolland. Discover mysterious stone tombs and secluded beaches while you leisurely cycle towards Falster. The island awaits you just like its neighboring island Bogø and Møn with beautiful nature and varied landscapes that invite you to breathe and discover. With the cliffs of Møns Klint you will get to know one of the few chalk cliffs in Europe – very impressive. Day 1: Individual arrival in Odense

Your bike tour from Odense to Kiel starts on the Danish island of Funen! After check-in explore Denmark's third largest city on foot or by bike – your rental bikes are already at your hotel. Get to know the cobbled streets lined with small, colorful houses. The H.C. Andersen Hus is dedicated to the world-famous writer Hans Christian Andersen, a true native. It takes visitors interactively into his fairytale world.

Day 2: Odense – Svendborg, approx. 60 km

The first stage of your bikee tour from Odense to Copenhagen takes you to the south of Funen. Funen is often referred to as the Garden of Denmark. No wonder, as the island is characterized by blooming gardens, tranquil forests, extensive parks and fairytale castles. Speaking of castles, it's worth taking a longer break at Egeskov Castle, one of the most beautiful moated castles in Europe. At today's destination, Svendborg, visit the old town with its countless half-timbered houses. The oldest of these is Anne Hvides Gård  dating back to the 16th century.

Day 3: Svendborg – Nakskov, approx. 45 km + ferry ride

After breakfast, you cycle along the Svendborgsundbroen to the island of Tåsinge. Not far from the sailing town of Troense, you will reach Valdemars Slot. It is located at the seashore and was built in the 17th century. Continue via Siødæmningen, the small island of Siø and Langelandsbroen to the island of Langeland. The ferry takes you to Tårs on the island of Lolland. You will spend the night in Nakskov, the largest town on the island. Visit the Sugar Museum providing an insight into the history of sugar production which to this day is of significant economic importance.

Day 4: Nakskov – Bandholm / Maribo, approx. 50 / 55 km

Today we are heading into the heart of Lolland. You follow mostly almost flat bike paths getting to know the beautiful nature of the island. First you cycle to Kragenæs in the north. Enjoy the view of the sea then get on your bike and head towards nearby Dodekalitten. This modern work of art is shaped like a stone circle. Continue to the harbor town of Bandholm. Visit the Knuthenborg Safari Park, the largest in Northern Europe. A little further south, you will arrive in the cozy town of Maribo. You spend the night in Bandholm or Maribo.

Day 5: Maribo – Nykøbing Falster / Marielyst, approx. 30 – 50 km

Today's stage of your bike tour from Odense to Copenhagen is also pleasantly flat. Take a second look at the sea in Bandholm and stroll through the cozy streets of Maribo then make your way to Falster. Via Guldborgsund you reach the island of Falster with the harbor town of Nykøbing. Half-timbered houses the monastery church and its water tower define the outline of the town. A few kilometers further you will encounter one of Denmark's most beautiful beaches in Marielyst. You will spend the night in Nykøbing Falster or in Marielyst.

Day 6: Nykøbing Falster – Stege, approx. 70 km + ferry ride

After breakfast, another pleasantly flat stage awaits. The path takes you along the coast to the east of Falster. Enjoy the view of the Baltic Sea and take a dip or two into its waters. A recommendation here is the beach at Hesnæs. The small fishing village is characterized by its houses, whose walls are wrapped in straw. In Stubbekøbing, a few kilometers away, you can take a ferry to the island of Bogø and cycle on to the island of Møn. Stege takes you to the island capital – Møn.

Day 7: Excursion to Møns Klint, approx. 55 km

The island of Møn is a popular vacation destination and rightly so. Møn features a variety of different landscapes in a small, contentrated area. Flat meadows and rocky, wooded hills characterize its island's landscape. Møns Klint, the highest cliff in Denmark, is a standout. Through the beech forest Klinteskoven you will reach the up to 128-metre-high chalk cliffs - a unique natural spectacle. Steps take you down to its pebble beach, ideal for a long walk, before you cycle back to Stege.

Day 8: Stege – Rødvig, approx. 70 km

Today's stage of your bike tour from Odense to Copenhagen takes you from the island of Møn to Zealand. You cycle via the Dronning Alexandrines Bro to the largest island in the Baltic Sea. You follow the winding, hilly bike path via Præstø to Faxe Ladeplads. The sandy beach here is perfect for a swim or a break in the sun. Continue on to Rødvig. From its harbor you can see the Stevns Klint cliff nearby which you will visit tomorrow.

Day 9: Rødvig – Køge, approx. 35 km

On todays bike trip you will be remain near to the impressive Stevns Klint cliff. Take a break in Højerup its church is now located right on the very edge of the cliff having been eroded by wind and sea over the centuries. Continue to the medieval harbor town of Køge. The town was once built by a royal order and developed into a flourishing harbor town. Numerous half-timbered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries characterize the townscape. One particular gem is located in Kirkestræde: the oldest house in Denmark.

Day 10: Køge – Copenhagen, approx. 45 km

You follow the path along Køger Bugt – take the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the sea – to Copenhagen. Denmark's capital is known for its cosmopolitanism and offers its visitors a wealth of sights. Visit Nyhavn with its small, colorful houses, Amalienborg Palace, the Tivoli amusement park and the Little Mermaid at its harbor.
