Day 1: Individual arrival in Prague

Day 2: Transfer Prague – Špindlerův Mlýn

Spend the morning exploring more of Prague's rich history. Visit Prague Castle, founded in the 9th century, and discover its architectural marvels. Within the castle complex, you’ll find St. Vitus Cathedral, the largest and most awe-inspiring church in the Czech Republic. In the afternoon, a transfer will take you to Špindlerův Mlýn, nestled in the heart of the Giant Mountains. This picturesque town will serve as the starting point for the first stage of your cycling journey along the Elbe River through the Czech Republic, beginning tomorrow.

Day 3: Špindlerův Mlýn – Dvůr Králové, approx. 55 km

After departing Špindlerův Mlýn, you’ll soon reach the Elbe Dam, the highest dam along the river. From here, continue your journey to the charming mountain town of Vrchlabí, often referred to as the gateway to the Giant Mountains. Take some time to wander through its scenic old town before cycling on through Hostinné to Dvůr Králové. Known for its rich cultural, historical, and artistic attractions, this town is also famous for its remarkable zoo.

Day 4: Dvůr Králové – Hradec Králové, approx. 40 km

Your bike tour from the Elbe Spring to Prague today takes you to the impressive Josefov Fortress. A guided tour through the maze of underground corridors beneath the fortress will leave a lasting impression. Now the cycle path leads you directly along the Elbe river to Hradec Králové. Nestled at the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice rivers, this picturesque town is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. Its townscape is a captivating blend of architectural styles from various eras.

Day 5: Hradec Králové – Přelouč, approx. 45 km

The first part of today’s stage takes you south to Pardubice, a perfect spot to pause and explore. The town’s Renaissance castle is a true highlight, renowned for its stunning architecture. It is also home to the oldest wall paintings in Bohemia. Continue your journey west through a picturesque landscape of lakes, meadows, and deciduous forests. Cycling via Břehy, you’ll reach the charming town of Přelouč. Here you will spend the night – relax and unwind in the picturesque town.

Day 6: Přelouč – Nymburk, approx. 65 km

Your route begins with a scenic ride past the historic national stud farm in Kladruby nad Labem. As you continue along the cycle path around Týnec and Kolín, the terrain becomes a bit more rugged. 
Pay a visit to Kolín for a rewarding break. The town’s stunning historic center and the impressive St. Bartholomew's Church are a sight to see. Now the bike path runs smoother along well-maintained bike routes to Nymburk. This former royal town welcomes you with its iconic medieval town wall, a striking reminder of its rich history.

Day 7: Nymburk – Prague, approx. 60 km

The final day of your bike tour form the Elbe Spring to Prague is fast approaching. 
As you pedal along the Elbe Cycle Path, you’ll pass the evocative ruins of Mydlovar Castle and the charming craftsmen's village of Botanicus Ostrá. Leave the bike path at Čelákovice now it’s just about 30 kilometers further to the historic heart of Prague. Once you've reached your destination take the time to admire the city. Pay a visit to the iconic astronomical clock at the town hall, enjoy panoramic views from the Prague TV Tower, and immerse yourself once more in the vibrant Czech way of life.

Day 8: Individual departure
