At nightfall, it is worth taking an evening stroll through the old town, which is bathed in atmospheric light.

You cycle along the River Scheldt through the green heart of Flanders to Dendermonde. The medieval market square and the Sint-Alexius-Beginenhof are just some of the highlights of this small town in the east of Flanders. If you want to spend more time on your bike, you can cycle all the way to Sint-Amands. Alternatively, your boat will take you there.
